Two water taps, and Maeg Berkowitz states a completely gated space. Wonderful park with a lot of trees encircling it. There is parking close to both the large and small dog parks. My dogs enjoyed running on the soft wood chips that form the park’s base. The park was kept up nicely and wasn’t too busy.

According to V Tancredi, During the Saturday Lakeshore Farmers market, there are typically musicians performing here. There are food vendors nearby, and you can sit down to eat; typically, there aren’t many tables and seats. At night, it’s merely a little plaza across from the Grand Lake Theatre, empty and mostly deserted.

Beautiful wilderness area with hills, vistas, and a variety of trails to explore, according to Louisa H. Easy going mostly on large, densely packed dirt trails that span open slopes. Because it’s exposed (has no tree cover), even after a lot of rain, it normally doesn’t get too muddy, especially on hot days. Most routes permit dogs to roam freely as long as cows aren’t grazing.

Austin Goodwin says this park’s hiking trails are great. They’re kept up nicely. Everybody I pass has their kids and pets, and they are all pretty friendly. Without a doubt, I’ll be back here. It’s great because my friend’s house is only around 2 miles away, allowing us to go hiking together on the weekends.

Geo Ivery says, “This is a place my dogs enjoy being. They enjoy watching people jog alongside the fence and chase the pigeons. It’s a nice location to just unwind and let the kids run loose for a bit. It’s a pleasant little park, although we should fix the access gate.”
Grove Shafter Park
This dog park in Oakland consists of two separate dog runs enclosed by a chain link fence. Each large and tiny breed has its own enclosure. Pet owners cannot bring a maximum of three dogs to the park at once due to a limit in place. There is some rough grass in both off-leash areas and a light covering of wood pieces. The dog park has plenty of shade because a large concrete flyover overhangs it.

Juhee claims there’s a dog park with lots of possibilities. The motorway ramps separate this park from other areas. There is a courtyard in the park’s north where you may skate, play basketball, take a dog walk, and do other activities. Though smaller, the south part is quieter. Oakland City cleaners have thoroughly cleaned the park, and it is now much cleaner. Folks, let’s maintain it that way! I’m glad there’s a leash-free, gated dog park close to my house. Five stars due to its potential.
Bushrod Park
At 10.12 acres, Bushrod Park is one of North Oakland’s biggest parks. The abundance of sports and activities at this park that suit a range of interests and energy levels is one of its most notable aspects. Regarding this park, Joe Riley provided feedback that it’s like an “open secret” spot where you may take your dog to retrieve. Although it’s not a dog park, everyone I’ve seen uses a ball or Frisbee to exercise their pet. Beautiful, spacious, and welcoming area. It seems exclusively for the locals and parkgoers. You might miss Bushrod Park if you speed down Shattuck. Either park your bike or get out of your car. At yet another lovely location, spread out and unwind.
Main Street Linear Dog Park
This park is well-liked for its hiking, running, and waterfront walks along the harbor. All of the puppies can play together in one big space made of organic earth and grass. All of the dogs who are fortunate enough to be able to play here will have a great time, but they are kept safe by the surrounding fencing. Please make plans in advance, as there are no restrooms available here.
To keep this park beautiful and fun for all dogs, please always clean up after your dog. Additionally, there is no cover available for your furry buddy to escape the heat, so please make sure they take lots of breaks from the excitement. Water bowls and fountains are conveniently located on the property.
