Harry Robert had an amazing first time at the dog park. This is a great place inside the city limits to enjoy for both (dog owners and their dogs). The water flows from the downstream of Barton Spring Pools. The water is very clear, blueish, and even cold in the hot weather, which is enjoyable for the dogs.
Although there’s a rocky bed and little bit harsh for someone without footwear so make sure to have some sort of footwear while going towards the beachy area.

Deb gives a five-star rating to the park due to the friendly and professional behavior of the management and staff of the park. She was just a little bit disappointed in the summertime of the year because, at that time, there was no significant temperature difference between the inside and outside of the water.
However, people stumbled upon this park after watching the scenes of the lake. The management provides shaded areas for dogs and owners to enjoy the scenery and healthy activities in the park. Alex named this dog park a hidden gem. The open woods and swimming holes are perfect for dogs to have a blast. Just a heads up, it’s not fenced or lit, so bring a leash if your pup tends to wander. But overall, it’s like Disneyland for dogs, with a food truck to keep them fed!”

Keila loved this park for her pup. There’s a friendly atmosphere, but be prepared for a quick chill once the sun sets, especially with the rocky high trials. Bringing a blanket is a smart move. The park is well-kept with huge parking, although restrooms might be closed at certain times.
This large dog park is a gem with its two sections and convenient dog poop bag dispensers scattered around. It’s incredibly dog-friendly, offering plenty of space for your furry friends to run and socialize. Highly recommend it for a fun day out with your canine companion!
